The artificial intelligence software is able to perform live segmentation of CT scans and X-rays to create an accurate plan for orthopedic surgeons in less than 30 seconds, according to a Feb. 21 news release from PeekMed.
PeekMed’s web-based software can create 2D and 3D images, complete measurements and add templates, reducing the chance of error in surgery in addition to saving time and money, the release said.
The company provides technology to more than 3,500 orthopedic surgeons worldwide.
