Hrayr Basmajian, MD, has received a Gold Award at the 2026 TITAN Health Awards for his work in cosmetic and reconstructive limb lengthening.

Dr. Basmajian is an orthopedic surgeon and founder of Premier Limb Lengthening, which aims to make specialized limb lengthening care more accessible, according to an Oct. 15 news release shared with Becker’s.

Dr. Basmajian also serves as Orthopaedic Trauma Medical Director at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and founded Premier Orthopaedic & Trauma Specialists.

The award was presented in the Outstanding Healthcare Achievements – Outstanding Clinical Practitioner category. The TITAN Health Awards recognize achievements in healthcare, medical technology and professional practice.

“Limb lengthening has come a long way, especially with the technology we have available today. But technology doesn’t replace the experience and judgment of the surgeon,” Dr. Basmajian said in the release. “Every patient is different, and you have to understand their anatomy, their goals and what their body can safely tolerate. That’s what determines how we approach their care.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
