The system is a computer-controlled drug delivery system with integrated ultrasound guidance that is designed for increased efficiency, accuracy and safety in administerin joint pain medication. The system can be operated by a single clinician and prepares the physician-prescribed injections from standard multi-dose anesthetic and steroid drug vials.
The system’s ultrasound screen provides real-time visualization of the needle position, fluid delivery and prescription volume. When the injection is complete, the system records treatment data and creates a record for transfer to an electronic record management system.
