1. New York City-based Spine Associates has added an ExcelsiusGPS robot to its practice under the leadership of Sean McCance, MD. 

2. Michael Bisogno, MD, performed the first hip replacement using a Mako robotic arm at Huntington (N.Y.) Hospital.

3. Mountain Point Medical Center in Lehi, Utah added the Cori robot for knee replacements.

4. Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, Miss. became the first hospital in northern Mississippi to install Globus Medical’s ExcelsiusGPS robot.

5. Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, N.J., added Globus Medical’s Excelsius GPS.

6. Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health added Medtronic’s StealthStation S8 and O-arm systems.

7. Benjamin Burch, MD, became the first surgeon in northern Mississippi to use SeaSpine’s Flash navigation system.
