Utah hospital adds Cori surgical robot

Kevin Sagers, DO, the only orthopedic surgeon certified in robot-assisted knee revision procedures, is using Mountain Point Medical Center’s newest technology.

The hospital added the Cori robot, which is designed for increased precision in knee replacement, according to a Nov. 7 news release published in Utah Business. 

Dr. Sagers is one of a few surgeons in the U.S. to be certified in robotics-assisted knee revision surgeries. He will use the robot for primary knee replacements and revision knee replacements.
