The Mazor X Stealth Edition platform allows surgeons to pre-plan procedures with 3D imaging technology and improves precision during surgeries.

Wade Ceola, MD, is trained to use the robot, according to an Oct. 20 practice news release shared with Becker’s.

“For people with chronic back pain due to common degenerative conditions like arthritis, successful spinal surgery can bring a return to normal life and activity,” Dr. Ceola said in the release. “The Mazor X Stealth Edition Robotic Guidance Platform will provide additional accuracy and precision, as well as decreased risk of infection and shorter recovery times.”
