MySpine Anchor is Medacta’s solution for Sacro-iliac joint fixation to reduce lower back pain.
The MySpine Anchor guides are used to prepare S2AI and SI pilot holes based on 3D preoperative planning using a patient’s anatomy.
“These patient-specific drill guides allow for the precise execution of the pre-planned S2AI, posterior SI, and sacral screw trajectories,” Dr. LaMotta said in the release. “The generous footprint of the guides makes robust surface contact with the S1 and S2 dorsal elements, which allows the surgeon to place sacropelvic fixation and posterior sacroiliac stabilization in the most effective and efficient way, without the need for intraoperative navigation. A true paradigm change for complex spine surgery.”
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
