Dr. Jonathan Cornelius reaches 2.5K Mako robotic joint replacements

Jonathan Cornelius, MD, recently reached 2,500 Mako robotic joint replacements.

Dr. Cornelius is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics in Nashville, Tenn. His specialties include arthroscopic surgery, general orthopedics and sports medicine. He was the first surgeon in the state to adopt robotic joint replacement of the knee and hip in 2011. 

The orthopedics clinic announced the milestone on its LinkedIn page Aug. 25.
