Dr. Charles Seal completes 100th robotic-assisted spine surgery

Charles Seal, MD, recently completed his 100th robotic-assisted spine surgery with Globus Medical’s ExcelsiusGPS.

The procedure was completed at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Va., according to an Aug. 16 LinkedIn post.

Dr. Seal is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in degenerative and traumatic conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. 

The ExcelsiusGPS combines a robotic arm with full navigational capabilities that allow surgeons to operate with a small incision.
