The device is cleared for stabilization of the anterior cervical spine from C2 to C7, according to a news release. It has plates and screws manufactured from titanium alloy and comes in multiple sizes.
VyPlate’s bone screws can be variable or at a fixed angle to the plate. Screws are available in self-drilling or self-tapping configurations, the release said.
