The facility adds to the medtech company’s 100,000-square-foot 3D printing facility in the area, according to an Aug. 3 news release.
Stryker’s 3D printing work focuses on developing devices and implants used in orthopedic surgeries, including spine, hip, knee, shoulder and ankle products.
The center is expected to “unlock new opportunities” and “accelerate innovation globally,” Viju Menon, Stryker’s group president of global quality and operations, said in the release. “We are also pleased to expand our talent base in Ireland with engaging roles across a range of disciplines.”
