Symmetry Medical Launches Elbow Positioning System

Symmetry Medical, a Warsaw, Ind.-based orthopedic device company, has launched the ElbowLOC Arm Positioning System through its wholly owned subsidiary Specialty Surgical Instrumentation, according to a Symmetry Medical news release.

The ElbowLOC system utilizes supine patient positioning for elbow procedures and is designed to promote shorter procedural times and eliminate the need for intraoperative arm traction devices. The device was designed by A. Lee Hunter, MD, an upper extremity surgeon who practices at Middle Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic in Columbia.
