Lumbar interbody fusion device design gets US patent

CTL Amedica was recently granted a U.S. patent for its Klimt expandable lumbar interbody fusion cage design.

The spinal implant includes 3D-printed technology and textured surfaces that enhance interdigitation and capillary response, according to an April 26 news release. It is also small enough to work through smaller access sites.
