Here are eight that added joint replacement robots in the first quarter of 2022:

1. Sailsbury, Md.-based Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates added the eastern shore region’s first Mako robot for joint replacements.
2. Minneapolis-based Allina Health has added its third orthopedic robot at Mercy Hospital in Fridley, Minn.
3. Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center completed the first total knee replacement on the East Coast using the newest iteration of Think Surgical’s TSolution One robot.
4. Scott Grabill, DO, performed the first robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery with the Mako robot at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, N.C.
5. Ronald Hillock, MD, performed the first total knee replacement with a second-generation robot at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.
6. Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health added the Stryker and Mako robots, according to a Feb. 15 news release.
7. Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopedic Clinic added the Mako robot, the Tallahassee Democrat reported Jan. 31.
8. Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health added the Rosa robot for hip replacements, SRQ Magazine reported Feb. 16.
