OrthoPediatrics marks 1,000th case with pedicle screw navigation tool

OrthoPediatrics has reached 1,000 cases completed with the Firefly pedicle screw navigation guides.

Firefly’s 3D-printed technology allows surgeons to make more accurate pedicle screw placements and reduces radiation exposure, according to a Feb. 23 news release. The Firefly technology is often used with OrthoPediatrics’ Response spine system.

OrthoPediatrics distributes Firefly through a partnership with Mighty Oak Medical.
