First US surgeries completed with Implanet cervical plate

Medical device company Implanet said its Origin cervical plate has now been used in surgeries completed in the U.S.

The device was cleared for the market by the FDA in 2020, the company said Feb. 22. Implanet began promoting the device in late 2021 after it acquired French company Orthopaedic & Spine Development.

Implanet has sold more than 7,000 of the cervical plates.
