Stryker, Zimmer Biomet get 100% rating from Human Rights Campaign

Stryker and Zimmer Biomet received a 100 percent rating on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index, the devicemakers said Jan. 27.

The Corporate Equality Index ranks companies based on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to LGBTQ+ workplace equity. The perfect score also awards Stryker and Zimmer Biomet with a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality recognition.

“We understand the value that diverse perspectives can bring as we work towards our mission to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for people around the world, and we continue to embrace diversity and inclusion within our team,” Zimmer Biomet CEO Bryan Hanson said in a news release.

For Stryker, this is the sixth year in a row the company received the recognition, according to a news release.
