The $79.5 million transaction includes OrthoSpin’s digitally enabled strut system, AutoStrut G2, according to a Nov. 4 news release from the Trendlines Group, which owned OrthoSpin. The robot automates strut adjustments for external circular fixation.
OrthoSpinwas founded in 2014. Johnson & Johnson led two investment rounds for the company.
