Dymicron’s artificial cervical disc wins Best New Spine Technology Award

Dymicron’s Triadyme-C artificial cervical disc won the 2021 Best New Spine Technology Award from Orthopedics This Week.

Triadyme-C is a motion-preserving artificial disc made of polycrystalline diamond, according to a Sept. 22 news release. It has virtually no detectable wear and minimizes the risk of debris-related complications.

The 13th Annual Spine Technology Award is determined by a panel of spine surgeons and recognizes innovative spine care technologies. The award is graded on factors including originality, clinical relevance, the likelihood of improving patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
