Orthofix adds former Roche exec to board of directors

Lewisville, Texas-based spine and orthopedic device company Orthofix named Wayne Burris to its board of directors and appointed him to its audit and finance committee, the company said Sept. 23.

Mr. Burris previously served for 23 years as senior vice president and CFO of Swiss healthcare company Roche Diagnostics from 1996 to 2019, when he retired. Before that, he was a senior manager for U.K. accounting firm Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Burris earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Butler University.
