Machine-assisted orthopedic surgery could see steady growth through 2031

The global market for computer-assisted orthopedic surgery will grow at a steady rate of 5.5 percent over the next decade, according to a survey by market research firm Fact.MR.

The projected growth is driven partly by a higher prevalence of arthritis, back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions, as well as aging populations in developed countries.

Among the key restraints identified by Fact.MR is a decline in hospital traffic due to fears of COVID-19 infection.
