Former NuVasive CFO joins Augmedics

Augmedics named Raj Asarpota as executive vice president and CFO in a Sept. 15 announcement.

Mr. Asarpota will lead Augmedics’ global finance organization and will be responsible for accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax and investor relations. His appointment completes Augmedics’ senior leadership team.

He previously held CFO and executive vice president roles at NuVasive and ApiJect Systems America, which focuses on how medicines and vaccines are filled. At ApiJect, he was also head of technology.

Augmedics is a surgical imaging company known for its augmented reality Xvision spine system.
