SeaSpine in 2021: 5 key developments

From a multimillion-dollar acquisition to advances in several innovations, here are five notes on SeaSpine so far in 2021:

1. SeaSpine got FDA clearance for its 7D percutaneous spine module for minimally invasive surgery.

2. SeaSpine launched several products including the WaveForm TA interbody implant, Regatta lateral plate system, WaveForm L 3D-printed interbody and WaveForm TO transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion system.

3. SeaSpine completed its $110M acquisition of 7D Surgical in May.

4. SeaSpine posted $42 million in first quarter revenue, a 16 percent increase compared to the same period in 2020.

5. Shweta Singh Maniar was named to SeaSpine’s board of directors in April.
