Medtronic’s latest clearance, SeaSpine’s new launch & more: 4 device company notes

1. Aziyo Biologics, a regenerative medicine company, voluntarily recalled a lot of its FiberCel product after several patients who received it tested positive for tuberculosis, according to the FDA.

2. DiFusion Technologies added Todd Potokar to its board of directors and named Rich Grant as chair of the board.

3. The FDA has provided clearance for Medtronic’s Vanta, a recharge free implantable neurostimulator.

4. SeaSpine’s WaveForm L 3D-printed interbody system was released in a limited commercial launch.
