Dr. Andrew Fabiano debuts Icotec’s new vertebral cage

Andrew Fabiano, MD, completed the first surgery with Icotec’s carbon fiber thoracolumbar vertebral body replacement cage in New York, according to a June 2 email to Becker’s Spine Review.

The procedure was done at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo.

Carbon fiber implants are nonmetallic, radiolucent and optimize radiotherapy planning and treatment.
