It partnered with PatientIQ, a platform that combines patient engagement technology with analytics, according to a May 26 news release. Patient IQ has more than 1,600 modules to educate patients for surgeries. It also administers patient outcome surveys and automates data collection.

MicroPort also partnered with Aaron Salyapongse, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Dublin, Calif. He will help develop a Virtual Joint Class series moving patient education to a digital format. The classes will be available through MicroPort’s Pathways program.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
