Orthofix gets clearance on OrthoNext digital platform

Orthofix received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its OrthoNext digital platform for pediatric orthopedic planning.

OrthoNext was designed for use with the JuniOrtho plating system and is made for deformity analysis and preoperative planning in pediatric surgery, according to a May 10 news release. It allows surgeons to plan implant positioning and streamline the selection of the device ahead of procedures.

WIth the clearance, Orthofix initiated the full market launch of the JuniOtho system.
