Orchid Orthopedic Solutions names CFO

Matt Tharp has been named CFO of Holt, Mich.-based Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, an orthopedic implant manufacturing company, according to an April 6 release.

Mr. Tharp has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain, operations and finance.  He formerly worked for Ammega, a joint-venture belt supplier company, where he served as CFO of the Americas. 

Before Ammega, Mr. Tharp held various roles at Midwest Industrial Rubber, Presence From Innovation, HD Supply and Anheuser-Busch. He has a reputation of leading mergers and acquisitions, the release said. 

Orchid also named a new CEO in October 2020.
