Zimmer Biomet introduces suite of tech for robotics, makes leadership changes

Zimmer Biomet introduced the ZBEdge Connected Intelligence Suite for its digital and robotic technologies.

ZBEdge offers a suite of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative technologies, according to a March 31 news release. The suite uses data from Zimmer Biomet devices and digital technologies to inform surgeons’ care.

ZBEdge technologies include Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa robotics platform, Zimmer Biomet’s anatomical visualization and guidance platforms, remote care management systems, and data solutions. It will be included in future technologies.

Zimmer Biomet also announced two leadership changes in a March 31 announcement. Lori Winkler is now chief human resources officer, and Sang Yi was promoted to group president of the Asia Pacific region.
