MicroPort Orthopedics extends hip stem portfolio

MicroPort Orthopedics launched two collared hip stems, expanding its portfolio.

The Profemur Gladiator HA Collared Stem and Profemur Gladiator Cemented Stem complete Microport’s Gladiator hip stem system, according to a Feb. 18 news release. The stems are used in total hip replacements and low-demand fractures.

The Profemur Gladiator hip stems all have a triple-wedge tapered design and are made for tissue-sparing techniques.
