4Web Medical gets FDA clearance for lumbar plating device

4Web Medical received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to market its Lumbar Plating Solution.

The device has a variety of modular plating configurations to address multiple lumbar spine pathologies and approaches, according to a March 17 news release. It has an integrated and non-integrated offering for single-, two- and four-screw options and a single-step locking mechanism.

Last year, 4Web Medical’s Stand-Alone Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion Device received FDA clearance.
