Parvizi Surgical announced the investment in PrecisionOS Jan. 7. Orthopedic surgeon Danny Goel, MD, founded PrecisionOS, which has provided surgical education to individuals in 25 countries.
“Reimagining surgical education has been at the forefront of our highly advanced and innovative approach to improved patient outcomes,” said Dr. Goel.
PrecisionOS represents the eighth company in Parvizi Surgical’s portfolio, which includes internal innovations such as Orthophor, a wound integration system, and HealthEXL, an interactive virtual nurse navigator. Other external investments include the CurvaFix Intramedullary Rodscrew, a device that fills the space within curved bones.
Parvizi Surgical offers licensing, funding, partnerships and innovation development for portfolio companies.
