Wenzel Spine acquires spinal imaging company

Spinal implant manufacturer Wenzel Spine on Aug. 27 acquired Statera Spine, a spinal imaging analytics company.

Four things to know:

1. Statera Spine uses its data and analytics to improve care decisions for patients suffering from chronic or acute spine conditions.

2. Wenzel Spine has added Statera Spine’s ProfileESP (expanded spine parameters report), vertebral motion analysis technology and surgical planning solution to its spine portfolio.

3. Wenzel Spine’s diagnostic offerings will now provide physicians with full spine alignment data, as well as motion and disc height data at each level to assist in the decision-making process with patients.

4. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
