Dr. Robert LaPrade repairs torn ACL on Magic’s Jonathan Isaac

Robert LaPrade, MD, operated on Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac to repair his torn left anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus Aug. 7, the NBA reported.

1. Mr. Isaac will be out indefinitely. The team will determine his recovery timetable based on how he responds to treatment and rehabilitation.

2. Mr. Isaac tore his ACL and meniscus Aug. 2.

3. Dr. LaPrade is an orthopedic surgeon at Golden Valley, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics. He’s an accomplished sports medicine physician and has received several research awards.
