32-year Johnson & Johnson executive named to Ossio board

Orthopedic fixation company Ossio recently added former Johnson & Johnson executive Gary Pruden to its board of directors, Biospace reports.

Three things to know:

1. Mr. Pruden has held several executive leadership positions within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors, including worldwide chairman of Johnson & Johnson’s medical device business, according to his LinkedIn profile. 

2. He serves on the board of directors of Lantheur Medical Imaging and is a strategic advisor with Orchestra Biomed.

3. Ossio’s Ossiofiber bone regeneration technology is designed to restore mobility in orthopedic patients in a more biologically-friendly way than metal implants.
