Life Spine, Gizmo Medical team to produce PPE amid COVID-19 outbreak

Life Spine partnered with Gizmo Medical March 23 to produce surgical masks and gowns to meet the growing demand in the U.S.

The two medical device companies are exploring ways to scale other medical equipment in anticipation of a projected spike in COVID-19 cases across the country, which will place added pressure on healthcare facilities caring for a significant influx of patients.

“Production is underway and we look forward to supporting those who are on the front lines and faced with potential shortages,” said Michael Butler, president and CEO of Life Spine.
