17-year Boston Scientific executive appointed Conformis CFO

Conformis appointed former Boston Scientific executive Bob Howe as CFO and treasurer on Feb. 5.

Mr. Howe has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including 17 years at Boston Scientific where he held financial leadership roles in three of the company’s operating divisions.

He will be responsible for driving operational success and improving the company’s gross margin.

Conformis also hired Gary Maingot as senior vice president of operations.

Mr. Maingot has 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, beginning his career in engineering roles at Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and Boston Scientific. 

Most recently he served as executive vice president of operations at Spinal Elements.
