The company develops collagen and mineral-based products for tissue repair and regeneration, which has applications across the spine, neurosurgery and orthopedic markets.
Mr. McCarthy has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device industry.
Most recently he operated as general manager of structural heart valves at Boston Scientific, where he was responsible for developing products and acquiring new technologies.
Mr. McCarthy also served in leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Tryton Medical.
