Former Medtronic R&D director joins Miach Orthopaedics — 3 things to know

Stephen Wohlert, PhD, on Jan. 21 was named vice president of manufacturing for Miach Orthopaedics.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Wohlert will supervise the development of Miach Orthopaedic’s Bridge-Enhanced ACL Repair implant.

2. He has more than 15 years of experience in medical device and drug concept product and development, including a director of R&D position at Covidien, which was acquired by Medtronic in 2014.

3. Dr. Wohlert’s most recent position was director of research and development at Professional Disposable International in Montvale, N.J.
