Arizona hospital to showcase spine, orthopedic robots to public

Abrazo Scottsdale (Ariz.) Campus will showcase its spine and orthopedic robotic portfolio in an open house on Nov. 16, reports the Daily Independent.

Three things to know:

1. The hospital is opening its operating rooms and offering the public the chance to test drive its robotic devices.

2. Its robotic portfolio includes Smith+Nephew’s Navio, Stryker’s Mako, Intuitive Surgical’s DaVinci and Medtronic’s O-arm.

3. The hospital is also hosting a total joint preop preparation class for patients on Nov. 19.
