Ortoma, which first developed the system for hip surgery, expanded to spine after recognizing “very high” levels of accuracy and safety. OTS is a surgical planning and navigation system.
Ortoma will begin developing the spine module in the first quarter of 2020. The module will copy the foundation of the hip surgery module, but will be customized based on study-generated feedback.
