Texas hospital installs Mako robotic system

Hunt Regional Medical Center installed the Mako robotic system for knee surgeries at its Greenville, Texas, hospital, local NPR affiliate 88.9 KETR reports.

Stryker developed the Mako robot. The robot arm assists surgeons with proper implant placement. The Mako notably protects soft tissue and ligaments from damage.
