Brainlab Acquires Voyant Health

Brainlab, a German medical technology company, has acquired Voyant Health and its TraumaCad technology, according to a Brainlab news release.

TraumaCad allows orthopedic surgeons to access patient images online and to plan surgical procedures from any location. This technology will compliment Brainlab’s existing orthopedic surgical navigation technology and expand the framework for its Quentry, an online network for physicians.

Under the agreement, Brainlab will provide expanded distribution and a gateway into neurosurgery and radiotherapy markets for Voyant Health.
