One Hundred Oaks features everything from pain management services to orthopedics, sports medicine, spine therapy and neurosurgery.
Patients are concerned they will incur additional charges for supplies, equipment and other hospital employees involved in care.
In a statement to WSMV, Vanderbilt said: “This change allows for the clinics operating at One Hundred Oaks to become administratively and financially consistent with the clinics operating on our 21st Avenue Campus, which are already hospital-based.”
Vanderbilt directed patients to contact their insurance providers to find out how the switch to a hospital-based clinic will affect their coverage.
