The Orthopaedic Rehab Center in Chattanooga is set to open on the campus of The Health Center at Standifer Place on June 17, reports The Chattanoogan.
Three things to know:
1. The facility will focus exclusively on patients recovering from total knee or hip joint replacement surgery.
2. Therapy treatments by specialized therapists will be available at the center seven days a week.
3. Orthopedic surgeon and medical director at ORC, Michael Tew, MD, said the facility is designed to "get the most out of a short inpatient rehab stay and make the transition home successful."
