Biometrics Launches Family of Biomaterials Products

Biomerics, a Salt Lake City-based medical device company, has launched its Quadrathane family of biomaterials for orthopedic and vascular applications, according to a company news release.

The Quadrathane products are polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethanes available in aliphatic and aromatic formulations. Biometrics recently expanded manufacturing capabilities to include a new laboratory, two new twin screw compounders and the acquisition of Polyimide Tubing and Coated Wire capabilities.
