Three things to know:

1. Intellijoint Surgical develops and commercializes surgical navigation solutions. Dr. Alexiades, an orthopedic surgeon at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, helped developed the company’s Intellijoint HIP for the anterior approach.

2. Dr. Alexiades specializes in hip, knee, shoulder and elbow surgery. A pioneer in the mini-anterior approach to total hip arthroplasty and an early adopter of partial knee replacements, he has been in practice at HSS for 29 years.

3. Intellijoint HIP provides intraoperative measurements for implant alignment for cup position, leg length and offset for total hip arthroplasty.
