Philips launches new mobile C-arm platform — 4 insights

Royal Philips launched Philips Zenition, a mobile C-arm imaging platform used in orthopedic, trauma and vascular procedures.

What you should know:

1. The Zenition system is based on Phillips’ Azurion platform.

2. Philips will roll Zenition out in the U.S., Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the first half of 2019 before introducing it to other markets.

3. Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems Business Leader Ronald Tabaksblat said, “Our new harmonized Zenition mobile C-arm platform offers the proven performance and ease of use needed for surgical teams to work with confidence and precision, now and in the future.”

4. Philips will have the Zenition on display at the 2019 European Congress of Radiology Exhibition, Feb. 28 to March 3 in Vienna, Austria.
