Three things to know:
1. AxioMed’s patented viscoelastic polymer technology is intended to relieve neck pain and restore normal spine function in degenerative disc disease patients.
2. The company’s Freedom Lumbar Disc and Freedom Cervical Disc are intended to replace degenerated discs. Their polymer cores are designed to provide stiffness similar to healthy human discs.
3. The Freedom Lumbar Disc is an investigational device. The Freedom Cervical Disc is not yet available in the U.S.
