With expertise in conditions of the hand, shoulder and elbow, Dr. Merlin’s additional specialties include wrist arthroscopy, upper extremity joint replacement and reconstruction as well as soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Merlin has authored articles on topics including total elbow arthroplasty and distal radius fractures for a variety of medical publications.
He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and American Association for Hand Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from and completing his residency at Boston University Medical Center, Dr. Merlin underwent hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery fellowship training at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center.
